I first got involved with AFC Welwyn because I loved what the club stood for - proper grassroots football, community spirit, and giving local players and fans something to be proud of. What started as helping out soon turned into chairing the club, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.
Match days are my favourite part, seeing the volunteers pulling together, the players giving everything, and the fans making noise for their team. That’s what football should be about.
Away from AFC Welwyn, I now work as Director of Technology at Tottenham Hotspur, which has given me a unique perspective: from non-league grounds to one of the best stadiums in the world. It’s shown me how important clubs are at every level and how much potential there is in building something sustainable and ambitious here at AFC Welwyn.
I’m proud to play my part in helping the club grow, and I’m excited about the journey we’re on to become fan-owned and to keep football at the heart of our community.
